Next to a monopile gripper, the monopile upending tool is one of the most crucial tools in your deck spread to upend, downend, and lift monopiles. Ideally, you want a tool that is easy to handle, robust, and within the weight of your crane capacity.

The Y-1600 is KENC’s monopile upending tool designed to easily handle monopiles with flange diameters of 7.5 – 8m. The light yet robust design makes the Y-1600 capable of handling a SWL of 1600t and is able to manage challenging side leads. The Y-1600 can be delivered with a seafastening cradle that enables easy lift-off and lowering through the special guides. Locking and unlocking can be done safely with a hands-off approach.
